Xiaomi continues to upgrade eligible devices to Android 15 with a stable HyperOS 2 update. The latest device to start getting the much-anticipated upgrade is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. It’s a global release limited to a few users for preview, with a public release coming in the coming days.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Android 15-based HyperOS 2 update is rolling out with version number OS2.0.2.0. VNGMIXM. It comes in a 4.7 GB package with all the expected features. Unfortunately, some AI features seem to be missing, probably due to the resources required for them to function. Nevertheless, you will notice a performance improvement thanks to the HyperCore. Also, HyperConnect allows you to share files with iOS devices and more.
We understand Xiaomi is rolling out the update in batches. Only Mi Pilot members are getting the build for preview, which will last a few days. The idea is to contain any serious issues that might arise after installing the update, but we haven’t seen any. Xiaomi may start the public release, but you should back up your data before upgrading.

Xiaomi is rolling out the update via OTA. They are yet to upload the Recovery ROM to their server. Hence, we cannot access it, but you can check the updater app. If the update has not arrived, we recommend you check back after some days.
