Xiaomi has been releasing details of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series phones, which will replace the Redmi Note 12 series. The Chinese company confirmed some specs of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in their last poster and has now released the launch date.
As always, the Redmi Note 13 series will consist of Pro and Pro+ models. We will see a vanilla version, but teasers so far have omitted it. However, the latest poster didn’t only tell us the Redmi Note 13 series launch date, but we also got to see what the devices will look like.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a curved display and a texted back with many color blocks. It’s the first time the top-of-the-line model will have a curved display, which gives it a flagship look. Meanwhile, the Pro model will spot a flat display while featuring a triple camera at the back, like the Pro+ model.
Xiaomi has confirmed the primary camera sensor and processor on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ debuting on September 21, 2023. The event will start at 7 PM Chinese time (11 PM UTC). We will see the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ all debut on that day.
They’ll run Android 13 on top of MIUI 14 outside of the box. We expect them to be among the first devices to upgrade to Android 14 and MIUI 15 when ready. Hopefully, Xiaomi will confirm how many Android OS upgrades these phones will receive during launch.
