The last few days have seen Xiaomi announce more phones to receive the stable MIUI 14 update. POCO has also done the same, announcing their devices that would be getting the much-anticipated upgrade in the coming weeks. And while some of these phones will receive MIUI 14 without Android 13, the Redmi Note 8 2021 MIUI 14 update brings a new OS upgrade.
Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 8 2021 with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5. The device received an upgrade to Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update, and it’s now getting an upgrade to MIUI 14 with Android 13 tagged along.
The update is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.3.0 TCUMIXM and weighs 3.1GB. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 13, February 2023 security patch to increase system security while advancing search in setting.
Of course, the update introduced the new super icon, a new widget format, photon engine, optimizations and bug fixes. Also, there have been few tweaks to the UI, with the dialogue box now on the center and few others. You can upgrade your device from the updater app or use the link below.
