We brought you a report earlier today about a new update arriving on Redmi Note 8 Pro for the Chinese Beta ROM users. The update came with Android 10 for the Chinese variant, but now the Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 10 starts arriving for the Global users as well.
The update is currently hitting devices in Pakistan and comes with a build number MIUI 11.0.2.0 QGGEUXM. It weighs 1.9GB, meaning you have to download over a Wi-Fi not to incur an additional charge.
Arriving with the update is Stable MIUI based on Android 10. It also brings the Android Security Patch update for February, increasing the system security. Again, it brought a localized payment Security icon for the Indian users.

Out of the few changes arriving with the Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 10 update, users will enjoy the Android Q for sure after so much anticipation. Meanwhile, unlike the latest update arriving on Mi 9 Lite, which has stopped Netflix working on the device, the current update on Note 8 Pro fixes the bug. You can now enjoy Netflix in HDR + 4K. Therefore, it’s safe to say that the update is clean, you should go ahead and download.

However, don’t be disappointed if the update hasn’t arrived yet, as OTA updates are sent in batches, and are likely to take some time before making it to all compatible devices. On the contrary, you should just download the update and start enjoying the new operating system. And don’t forget to give us feedback after testing the update via the comment box.
