Like other Android skins, MIUI has flaws, but some have been addressed in the last couple of years. With MIUI 13, Xiaomi improved stability and performance, but some Redmi Note 9 Pro users will believe otherwise. That’s because some people are experiencing random reboots after upgrading to MIUI 13.
A couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi released the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The update is currently available for European and Global users, but it is likely to take time before being available in other regions. The reason is due to the random reboots being reported by some users after upgrading to Android 12 with the stable MIUI 13 update.
Affected builds are MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJZEUXM and MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJZMIXM. However, not everyone running these builds is facing this issue, but it will be safe not to install the update if you haven’t done so. According to Xiaomi, developers are still analyzing the issue to determine the cause and possibly roll out a fixed build.
That said, we will keep an eye on the development to let you know when the Redmi Note 9 Pro random reboot issue has been resolved. You can follow us on Telegram to be updated.
