Redmi phones that will receive Android 15

Redmi phones that will receive Android 15

Xiaomi is committed to rolling out Android 15 to its Redmi phones. The Chinese company is testing the upcoming Android version though only a few devices are eligible for the beta phase. We expect more devices to join the future, but as expected, not all Redmi phones will receive Android 15.

We understand that Xiaomi is working on a minor HyperOS upgrade. It is probably to improve performance and stability for a seamless upgrade to Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0. We expect the successor of the current Android skin later this year, which will bring Android 15 to eligible Redmi phones.

Xiaomi has a complicated update policy, but we know most Redmi phones get guaranteed two Android OS upgrades. Of course, getting a new HyperOS update doesn’t mean a new Android OS update. It means your device can receive HyperOS 2.0 and still miss out on the upcoming Android OS, hence why it is important to publish a list of Redmi phones that will receive Android 15.

We already know what features Google will introduce with Android 15. However, the same cannot be said about HyperOS 2.0, though we know what to expect of HyperOS 1.5. If you are curious, you can check some of the next Android OS features here. Below is the list of Redmi phones that have these features.

It is hard to say for sure the Redmi phones that will receive Android 15, but if your device debuted with Android 14, you would get the upcoming OS update. Also, those using premium Redmi phones that have only received one OS upgrade should be sure of the next one.

Of course, some devices on this list might end up getting only HyperOS 2.0 and not Android 15, while others will be included later. If your device is not on the list, there is a chance you might still get the update. However, if your Redmi phone has received two Android OS upgrades, there’s a chance you might miss out on Android 15.
