Xiaomi has been rolling out a new Android 10 update to the Mi A3. The update started hitting the Global units some hours ago with a version number V11.0.11.0 QFQMIXM and weighs 1.33GB.
As of now, there’s no time frame as to when the EU variant will get the update, but according to a user in the Xiaomi Mi community forum, he claims the EU ROM is available. He also posted an image of what appears to be the EU version number of Mi A3 Android 10 update. But a super moderator was quick to reply, saying only developers know about the ROM and promised to seek information about the EU ROM.
Meanwhile, the latest Mi A3 Android 10 update is just like the old days. From reports, the update didn’t fix any of the previously reported bugs, but it didn’t introduce a new one.
Reported bugs from the latest Mi A3 Android 10
- The settings suggestion bug isn’t fixed
- Camera shutter locked at 1/4s. It had up to 32s shutter speed in Android Pie.
- The fingerprint icon doesn’t come off the screen when the device is picked. In some cases, the fingerprint icon keeps shaking.
However, a single tap on the screen activates the fingerprint icon while detection off-screen works just fine. The battery seems to be doing just fine as well, as not even a single user has reported anything about it, and the majority believe the update is safe.
Looking at the bugs, they’re not different from the ones reported after the first rollout, meaning the latest Mi A3 Android 10 isn’t the fix Xiaomi promised. At this stage, we suggest you go ahead and download the update if you can wait anymore because we can’t see a proper fix coming anytime soon.
Moreover, the reported bugs aren’t what can disrupt your operation with the phone. And don’t forget to leave feedback for us after updating, good luck.
