  • Make sure your iPhone is running on iOS 15.4 or higher and your Apple Watch should be running on WatchOS 8.5 or higher as well. Should any of these requirements be missing, the process wouldn’t proceed to begin with
  • On your iPhone, turn on your WiFi network – preferably 2.4GHz. 
  • Keep your watch on the wireless charger
  • Press the Side Button on your Apple Watch twice
  • You’ll be greeted with a pop-up on your iPhone asking if you want to recover your Apple Watch, click on Continue and follow the other on-screen prompts
  • In case, you have gone through these steps – having met the requirements – and still have no luck, you can contact Apple support.
