The all-new exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 has already been seeded in most Galaxy devices worldwide since March 2022. The flagship S22, last year’s S21, and even some non-flagship series have partaken from the package. Well, better late than never, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Android 12 is now available in Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Android 12 update is for the carrier-locked variant of the smartphone and it bears firmware version A136USQU2BVE9. The update is also equipped with the May security patch so apart from the new UI, users get fixes of 7 critical, 23 high, and 3 moderate levels of CVEs so expect a boost in your device performance.
What’s new?
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Android 12 OneUI 4.1 tweaks include added Color palette features plus widget picker UI as well as thicker sliders and more widget options available on the lock screen. There’s also enhanced device performance with an ability to turn off Game Optimization Service.
The Gallery section wasn’t left out as you can now add portrait effects to images and edit unnecessary motion to get still images to mention a few. Speaking of connectivity, wifi passwords can be shared via Quick Share, there is an added tweak to Google Duo live sharing that enables users to share the screen with another user.
