The Samsung Galaxy A51 Android 12 update has been rolling out in most regions of the world, talking about most Asian and European markets and others. Though quite late, the package has gotten to the US users.
The all-new exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 update has been seeded in most Galaxy devices. The flagship models, Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra, and S22+ have been getting the update. Last year’s S21 and even the Galaxy Note 20 series had partaken in the package among some other non-flagship series.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 Android 12 update bears firmware versions A515U1UEU7DVD4 and A515USQU7DVD3 for the carrier unlocked and locked variants of the device and also includes the March security patch.
Comcast and Xfinity mobile networks have received the rollout for locked variants and only the Verizon network has partaken in the carrier-locked counterparts, the update is sure to reach other devices soon.
What’s new about this update?
The Samsung Galaxy A51 Android 12 update came with some sleek features like unique improvement in the photo and video editor, better RAM management, and a Grammarly-powered keyboard to enhance typing experience. Not to mention the color palette feature which adds colors to backgrounds and apps throughout the phone.
Though few features are missing in the A51 compared to the flagship counterparts, there’s no denying that the oneUI 4.1 updates had a fantastic effect on the handset. Galaxy A51 debuted with Android 10 in 2020 and Samsung made the Android 11 OS update available as of early 2021 and now the exclusive Android 12-based oneUI 4.1 software update is being rolled out.

If you have not gotten a notification about the update, then it will soon get to your device. You can however update manually. Go to the setting app, move to software updates and then download and install.
