Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update. The Korean company started with the flagship Galaxy S23 series before extending it to the Galaxy S23 FE. It has also arrived for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, and now, the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update is about to start rolling out.
Samsung phone users have been anticipating the release of One UI 6.1 since the debut of the Galaxy S24 series. The highlight of the new update is the introduction of the Galaxy AI. We have seen what users can do with that feature, though some are exclusive to the S24. Unfortunately, the Galaxy S22 will not get many Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy S23 missed some of the Galaxy AI features, like the super HDR and AOD wallpaper. Of course, the Galaxy S22 will not be getting those features, and it seems the phone will be missing out on some more, according to reports. However, we hope to learn about the features when the update starts rolling out.
When is the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update rolling out?
There’s no official release date for the update, but since the rollout has started, we expect the device to start getting the upgrade soon. According to Tarun Vats, the update is expected to start rolling out between April 1 and April 12. It will first arrive for users in Korea, Asia, India, and Europe.
The update will also be rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the same period, with the Galaxy A54 expected to receive the update too. You can follow our social media platforms to know when the update becomes available in your region.
