We are almost in December, and Samsung has yet to release the latest Android OS updates to the public. The company has been testing the build internally, and new builds are spotted on the server every few days. While the beta preview is expected to start before 2025, it’s unclear if the Galaxy S22 One UI 7 beta will happen, but the device will receive the new OS as it has been spotted on the servers.
Details of Galaxy S22 One UI 7 based Android 15 update
At present, no Samsung phone has received the One UI 7 update either as a beta or stable release. The Korean company is testing these updates internally, meaning only developers can access them. However, with the recent reports and the rate at which new builds are spotted on the server, the release might be imminent, but not for the Galaxy S22 series.
Although the first Galaxy S22 Ultra One UI 7 build was recently spotted, the device will probably get a stable build next year, as there are doubts about a beta release. Also, the latest report is on internal builds for developers, as only the Galaxy S24 currently has a beta build, meaning Samsung will likely start the testing with its latest flagship phones.
Nevertheless, we are sure the Galaxy S22 One UI 7 update will arrive at some point, probably next year. Samsung plans to announce the stable release in January 2025 alongside the Galaxy S25 series. The upcoming flagship phone will run the new OS outside the box, and probably after the unveiling, other eligible phones will start getting it.
