While we’re in the season of the OneUI 5 based on the Android 13 software, the Korean tech giant is rolling out the Samsung Galaxy S22 OneUI 4.1.1 in the US.
Some Samsung Galaxy S22 series users in South Korea and some European markets are already running on the OneUI 5 beta based on Android 13. Looking at the previous rollout of updates, we can say that the US owners are always at the end of the queue. Well, it might be that after the Samsung Galaxy S22 OneUI 4.1.1, the US owners might enjoy the OneUI 5 next.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 OneUI 4.1.1 is based on the Android 12L and will be rolling out in the carrier-locked variant of the S22 series. The update bears firmware version S90xUSQU2AVHB and is available on the Comcast, Xfinity, and Verizon mobile networks- other regions will follow suit soon.
What’s new?
Samsung Galaxy S22 OneUI 4.1.1 brings in tweaks to Private Share, and Smart View, among some security bumps, although it doesn’t include the September 2022 security patch. That said, the ability to rename files on Private Share and the ability to show multiple options on Smart View are what’s worth the download.
