After much anticipation, the next generation of Samsung Galaxy Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series is now official. Samsung has installed a few sleek features on the Galaxy Watch 5 series that make it worth the hype. Moving forward, let’s take a look at the good piece of tech the Korean tech giant has for us.
What’s with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro
First, we’re familiar with the models we are expecting, thanks to earlier surfaced rumors. We’re getting the vanilla version in 40mm and 44mm variants and then the Pro model on just a 45mm variant. It is quite interesting to note that the brand employs the use of a Sapphire Crystal display, a display capable of preventing more scratches. Another good news is that this display is for all the models.
AOD, Always On Display mode makes its way to the three models of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, however, we don’t see a rotating bezel linked to a Classic Watch 5 according to earlier rumors. Although, the Korean tech giant might still have plans as regards a Classic.
The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has more durability features, thanks to the protruding bezel, “enhanced Sapphire Crystal” as well as a titanium chassis. This is unarguably the most durable smartwatch from Samsung.
With 590 mAh on the Pro, 284 mAh on the 40mm vanilla, and 410 mAh on the 44mm, you can get a very decent amount of battery life. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series are powered by the Exynos W920 chipset present in its predecessor.
