The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, which is expected to succeed the recently released Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, has been generating a lot of online leaks. This time, new details regarding the charging capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 have emerged.

The recent FCC filing for the Galaxy Watch 6 has provided confirmation of some important details regarding the upcoming smartwatch. The model numbers SM-R930 and SM-R940 suggest that there will be two different sizes of the Galaxy Watch 6, while the SM-R935 and SM-R945 may represent variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic or potentially LTE versions of the Watch 6.
The listing also confirms Bluetooth 5.3, NFC compatibility, and Wi-Fi capabilities for the Galaxy Watch 6. It mentions that the integrated wireless charger will have a maximum charging speed of 10W, which is the same as the Watch 5 series. Although it would have been nice to see an increase in charging speed, the 10W rate provided by the previous generation was considered acceptable.
Furthermore, it is rumored that the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic will be launched alongside Samsung’s new foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. There are expectations of a new Exynos CPU being featured in the new edition, and there is also speculation that the rotating bezel, a popular feature of previous Galaxy Watches, will make a return in the Classic variant.
