Samsung has started rolling out a software update to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It’s the first OTA rollout for the smartwatch, and hence, it focuses on improvement and system optimization.
While Samsung phones are the first to get the latest security patch update, it seems their Watches don’t get the same treatment. And though it has taken over a month for the Galaxy Watch Ultra update to start rolling out, it’s the June 2024 patch that has been delivered.
The update has a build number L705FXXU1AXG2 and weighs 175.85MB. Availability has been reported in Germany with other regions expected to start getting the update in the coming days. And yes, the update is based on One UI 6 Watch. We recommend installing the update to resolve any issues with the Watch and improve the performance.
