The next generation of the Z flip series, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has had a lot of rumors surfacing before its release later in the year. The upcoming series might house Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 gen 1 plus chip, debut in four color options, and then include a large cover display. While the Z Fold counterpart, Z Fold 4 battery capacity has been revealed, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 battery has surfaced.
As usual, we expect the lithium-ion battery, and this wouldn’t be changing anytime soon till we get an improvement in phone batteries. Because the predecessor, Z Flip 3 was tagged as the best-selling foldable of Samsung, the Android community has high expectations for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
According to rumors, the Z Flip 4 would have a bigger battery than the Z Flip 3. Just like its predecessor, it will house two batteries inside. The batteries bear product models EB-BF721ABY and EB-BF722ABY with battery ratings of 2400 mah and 903 mah respectively, summing up to a power of 3303 mah. That’s 100 mah more power than the rated capacity of Flip 3.
Will Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 have wireless charging and reverse wireless charging?
Of course, since its predecessor comes with wireless charging(10W), we don’t see why the Korean tech giant will leave out this feature on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Speaking of reverse wireless charging, a 4.5W reverse charging is already available on the Z Flip 3 so we don’t see why not the Galaxy Z Flip 4 wouldn’t come with it.
While there is an increase in the battery size of the successor, we also expect an increase in charging speed to follow suit. Furthermore, there should be an upgrade on the wireless and reverse wireless charging but we still await further details regarding such. Till the debut of this sleek series, we will keep an eye out for more tweaks and rumors.
