The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and will soon debut. As usual, many leaks of the smartphone will be surfacing online revealing many details. Let’s take a look at what we’ve got.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 renders
Renders were leaked a little more than a week ago(via xdadevelopers), perhaps giving us our first glimpse at what the Galaxy Z Flip 5 may look like. Today, we have a fresh render that shows much of the same, with the publication verifying that the previously leaked design is largely accurate for this year’s edition.
As seen in the image above(via xdadevelopers), the cover screen for the next Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be far bigger than prior generations, taking up most of the area seen on the front outer display. Unfortunately, we don’t have any display specifications, and it’s unclear whether Samsung will use the extra space in more intriguing ways. Earlier generations lacked capability, with third-party developers unlocking the full capabilities of the exterior display on prior Galaxy Z Flip handsets.
If you missed Technizo Concept’s original leak a little over a week ago, you can access a video via the link at the end of the article so you can get a better idea of what the finished product may look like. The leak, as you can see, reveals the cover display in full color, giving us a clearer indication of what to expect. For the most part, it’s a simple yet distinctive form.
While these are still renderings, the smartphone appears to be pretty interesting, especially given that the previous cover display was rather modest. Of course, because these are only rumors, there’s always the possibility that they’re erroneous, or that Samsung has revised its ideas internally. But, assuming what we’re seeing is the final product, this should be a welcome boost for Samsung Z Flip 3 and Z Flip 4 users.
