With Google set to release the stable Android 15 update to Pixel phones next month, Samsung is expected to roll out the One UI 7 public beta based on the upcoming OS probably before that. The South Korean tech company has been working on the update internally, but it is time to start seeding to the public. We expect the Galaxy Z Flip 6 to be among the first phones to receive the update, as a new build has been spotted on the server.
Samsung One UI 7 public beta update is coming next month, probably before the stable Android 15 release to Pixel phone users on the 15th. The rollout will start with the Galaxy S24 series, and we expect the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 to be in the mix. The duo debuted with One UI 6.1.1, which delayed the One UI 7 public beta, and hence should be ready to receive Android 15.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has been spotted on the Samsung test server running One UI 7. It is an internal build, meaning only developers can access the ROM. With the new development, we know the testing is progressing, and there won’t be much time again before it starts rolling out for eligible users.
Samsung has made some changes in anticipation of the One UI 7 public beta release, though no one knows the actual release date. We hope to get a confirmation after the developer conference early next month. You can follow our social media handles to know when Samsung will start pushing the update to eligible users.
