Samsung is working on a few updates that will start rolling out in the next few months. The tech company will release the One UI 6.1.1 update first before the arrival of Android 15 with One UI 7. These upgrades are being tested internally, and we could see the One UI 6.1.1 update soon.
Google will release stable Android 15 in October, and we expect Samsung to start testing publicly for then. However, the company is currently working on One 6.1.1 with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 build spotted on the server.
According to reports, the build has a version number F946BXXU2DXF1. It is exclusive to developers, which makes it impossible for the public to access it. But that means the update will start rolling out soon for eligible phones.
Samsung will bring improved camera performance with One UI 6.1.1. We won’t be surprised if these features are limited to the Galaxy S24 series. Hopefully, we find out other features coming with the update in the coming weeks.
