Since last month, Galaxy S24 series phone users have been waiting for the One UI 7 beta 3 update. Samsung is now rolling out the update, which brings new features, bug fixes, and optimizations, but is the stable One UI 7 update seeding next? We believe that depends on many things.
Only Samsung has yet to start rolling out a stable Android 15 update to its eligible phones, and we are still weeks away from a possible release. With the One UI 7 beta 3, the Korean company moves a step closer to a stable release. The update comes in a 1.2 GB package and includes many bug fixes, improvements, and the January 2025 security patch.

We understand the rollout started in Europe and India but should expand to other regions in the coming days. Of course, only Galaxy S24 series phones registered for the beta program will receive the update, while those that did not should wait till probably next month for a public release.
When is the stable One UI 7 update rolling out?
Samsung will officially announce One UI 7 at the Galaxy S25 launch event later this month. The upcoming flagship phones will be the first to run the stable build, which is based on Android 15. We do not know when the stable rollout will commence for the Galaxy S24 series and other models, but feedback from the beta testers will be key in determining that.
We might still see another beta update before the stable release, which is expected after the official presentation. Meanwhile, we believe the update will be worth the wait, given the new features.
