Samsung was always going to release the One UI 7 beta update before the stable release in January. There have been speculations about the possible release date. The report from yesterday is the most accurate, as Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 beta update in South Korea while registration has opened for European users.
As usual, Samsung is prioritizing its latest S-series flagship phones for the first wave of the beta rollout. Hence, if you own the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, or Galaxy S24 Ultra, you can sign up to participate in the One UI 7 beta preview. Hopefully, more devices will be added to the list in the coming weeks. For now, the S24 series can follow the procedure below to sign up.
How to get the Samsung One UI 7 beta update
Samsung is already rolling out the One UI 7 beta update in South Korea. It comes in a 4519.29MB package with version number S92XNKSU4ZXKZ. Remember, it is the first cross-section Android upgrade and might contain bugs. Ensure to back up your files before installing the update. You need to register before receiving the update, and you can do that by following the procedure below.
To sign up, launch the Samsung Members app. Tap the One UI 7.0 Beta Program banner, and click the enroll button. If you cannot see the banner, check for the Notices section or check back later, as the registration probably hasn’t opened in your region.
Once you complete your registration, head to your phone’s Settings>>Software update>>Download and install. You will get a beta update. For now, only Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can register.
Countries participating in the Samsung One UI 7 beta update
So far, those in the UK and Germany are reporting the availability of the registration portal. We expect more countries to join soon, but you can check the Samsung Members app.
