Samsung has yet to release the One UI 7 public beta build even though stable Android 15 will arrive for Pixel users this week. There have been a series of rumours about a supposed release date, but none have been correct. Although we have seen the One UI 7 design, we understand that it can still change, which is perhaps why the update has not been rolled out.
Samsung is always among the first few phone makers to release a new iteration of Android OS to eligible phones, but it won’t happen this year. The Korean company is still deciding on the features of the One UI 7, which will deliver Android 15 to eligible phones.
According to Ice Universe, Samsung One UI 7 is still in the development phase, as the company is undecided on a few things. Several changes may still be coming to the build before it is released to stable users. While that will probably delay the stable release, we expect the beta phase to start by December.
Meanwhile, Samsung has redesigned the app icons and many system UI. We understand One UI 7 is very smooth from the leaked videos, but that keeps changing with the new developer beta release. In addition, more widget options have been added and are said to be the best in the industry. We hope to see more features in the coming weeks/months.
