With stable Android 16 available for Pixel phones, other smartphone companies are working to start pushing the upgrade to their eligible phones. Samsung has been working on the next iteration of its One UI skin, which will bring Android 16 to supported devices. They are now a step closer with the release of the One UI 8 Beta 2 update but have limited the rollout to Korean users.

It has been over two weeks since the first Beta update was released for the Galaxy S25 series. A new build is now rolling out for eligible users and is still exclusive to the latest flagship phones.
Details of the Samsung One UI 8 Beta 2 update
Samsung has limited the release of the One UI 8 Beta 2 update to eligible devices in Korea. Phones getting the upgrade have model numbers SM-S931N, SM-S936N, and SM-S938N. The update size is about 12GB and has a version number S93xNKSU4ZYF3.
The update comes with new features, including a user feedback function for translation performance improvement. There are a few bug fixes and optimizations. We recommend installing the update if you installed the initial build.
We expect an expansion to other regions in the coming days. The update will expand to Europe, India, the US, and other countries. We will update this post when the update goes live in more regions.
