Samsung is on course to release the One UI 8 stable update in a record time. That has to do with the new Google release schedule, as the current OS upgrade arrived three months earlier compared to the last release. As usual, beta testers preview the build before it is available to stable users, and with the One UI 8 Beta 3 release, we are a step closer to the stable release.

Google always has a say when smartphone makers release a new iteration of their Android skin. This is because they tied it to the latest Android OS, and that is the case with the One UI 8. It will deliver Android 16 to eligible devices, with Galaxy S25 leading the charge. The Korean company has been organizing a beta preview program for months and has made progress with the latest release.
The update is available in the UK, India, Germany, and Korea. It is a 1.2GB package, and we expect other regions to get the update in the coming hours. Meanwhile, you can check for it manually. Head to Settings>>Software update>>Download and Install. The update can be identified with a build number ZYFA.
When is the Galaxy S25 stable One UI 8 update rolling out?
We do not have an official ETA for the One UI 8 stable update. There is a chance the update starts rolling out on July 9, the date for Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. We expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, which are expected to debut the Android 16-based One UI 8 build.
If that’s the case, we expect the latest beta release to be the final beta update. According to Galaxy S25 users, the new update is a near-final/stable build. Animation has been refined as well as other recent additions. You can check the complete change log for the One UI 8 Beta 3 update below.

So far, there is no news about the Beta program starting for other phones. We have seen reports of Galaxy phones running Android 16 based on One UI 8. We expect an official confirmation during the next Unpacked event.
