The Korean tech giant has been dishing out some cool stuff like the OneUI 4.1, security patches and also hardware like the Galaxy Watch 4 Black Yak edition. Since the inception of wireless charging, most phone brands have been trying to up their game to deliver quality wireless chargers. Well, Samsung has got something for gadget users, it’s a Wireless Charger+ charging pad
On June 7th, A tipster Mukul Sharma spotted a trademark filing with EUIPO, European Union intellectual property office showing the Wireless Charger+ charging pad as a new device from Samsung. The filing number for the new device was 018713898. Although there wasn’t any other information gotten from the application, the device is seen as a Nice Class 9.
What is expected from the Wireless Charger+ Charging pad
The Wireless Charger+ charging pad is in a way similar to the Duo Super fast Wireless charging pad and Super fast Wireless charging pad released by the Korean brand earlier this year.
The already released charging pad offers to charge up to 15W on Samsung smartphones, one of which is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Meanwhile, it offers limited charging of up to 7.5W on Apple products like the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The Duo counterpart is just a plus enabling you to charge two devices like your Galaxy Buds and your phone.
Some cool features of these charging pads expected on the Wireless Charger+ charging pad are the built-in fan which prevents overheating as well as alerts users of nearby objects that could disrupt charging, a Led light which is used to know the charging status(can be removed), and then a slim design. We expect further details of the charging pad, although this information should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are just rumours.
