Samsung is probably the first smartphone maker to push a new security patch update in recent times. The Korean might be ahead of Google in that regard, as the latter has yet to start rolling out the latest patch update. As expected, the Galaxy S24 series is getting a new update as Samsung continues to develop One UI 7.
Samsung November 2024 security patch update
Actually, Samsung started rolling out the November 2024 security patch update last week. The release began with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and is now landing on the S24 series in the US. Those in that region are getting firmware with version number S92xUSQS4AXJA. It is important you download the update as it fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.
Meanwhile, Samsung is still working on the One UI 7, with a beta release expected next week. If that’s the case, you should install the new update when prompted, especially if you intend to participate in the beta preview.
