Samsung released the much anticipated exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 update last month and most of its devices are being seeded. Though many flagship models have received the update, the Korean brand just began testing Galaxy A12 Android 12 update.
As of mid-April, the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra have gotten the exclusive update. Even some of the Note series have partaken in the package as well as the non-flagship Galaxy A51 of which is limited in some parts of Asia and Europe.
Though the update is scheduled to arrive in Korea by April 22 on the Galaxy A51.Some European regions that have gotten the update on the A51 include Slovakia, Latvia, Germany, Russia, and the Baltic regions. We still expect the update to reach the other Asian markets and other regions worldwide soon.
The newly discovered firmware versions of the update are A51FXXU2CVD5 and A125FODM2CVD5 and the update should be available on the unlocked and carrier-locked variants of the device.
The Galaxy A12 Android 12 update will bring a lot of features to the handset among which are unique improvements in the photo and video editor, better RAM management, and a Grammarly-powered keyboard to enhance typing experience.
Not to mention the color palette feature which adds colors to backgrounds and apps throughout the phone. This update might leave out some characteristics like an improved camera which is available on the flagship models. But it will no doubt increase the overall performance of the Galaxy A12
How to download the Galaxy A12 Android 12 update
As said above, the update is still in the testing phase and will be made available once the Korean brand is done. Also, the phone will also notify you if it’s out. Meanwhile, you can check manually using the settings app. Navigate to the software update section the download and install when available.
