Since stable Android 15 is not due till next month for Pixel phones, Google is rolling out the September 2024 security patch based on Android 14. The update is rolling out for all eligible users with fixes and system improvements.
The next stable update is probably Android 15, but before that, you should install the latest update. It has resolved 11 security flaws with the patch dated 2024-09-01 and 25 for 2024-09-05. They range from high to critical. There are six additional security fixes for Google devices in the dedicated bulletin.
The September 2024 security patch update weighs 29.39 MB on the Pixel 7 Pro. You can download the update via Settings>>System>> System update or use the source link for the OTA.
