Xiaomi, in the past few weeks, has been deploying the September security patch build. That hasn’t stopped the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 rollout, which also comes with the current security patch. The Redmi Note 10 units haven’t started bagging the build yet, but we’re optimistic the device will be among the next wave. However, there’s a new update rolling out for the device users in Europe and has bumped the Android security level to improve performance.
The September security patch for Redmi Note 10 in Europe is currently seeding to eligible users. It seems the Mi Pilots are the ones getting the stable MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKGEUXM. The build weighs 341 MB and has optimized system performance and reduced lag. Aside from that, it bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability.
As usual with all Xiaomi MIUI updates, the current rollout has addressed some bugs. However, it failed to restore the second space feature nor the split-screen function. As for the former, you can enable the feature from this link. Unfortunately, there’s currently no alternative for the latter, and hopefully, Xiaomi brings it back soon.
Aside from that, the September security patch for Redmi Note 10 in Europe is save. We recommend that you download the update to improve system security. It also fortifies the device ahead of future upgrades and the supposed Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5. You can check for that update via the updater app or use the link below.
