The Rumor Behind Severance Season 2

Director Ben Stiller took to Twitter on October 31st to tease fans with an eerie behind-the-scenes image of Mark S. (played by Adam Scott), announcing the start of production for the second season of Severance. Meanwhile, Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, and John Turturo are set to reprise their roles for the second season. 

Apple TV+ also revealed that the show will feature eight new ensemble members including Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, Merritt Wever, Alia Shawkat, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, John Noble, Robby Benson, and Stefano Carannante.

Production for season 2 of the series has commenced, but unfortunately, there is no news yet regarding when the new episodes will be released. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed as we eagerly await updates.

What Can Fans Expect From ‘Severance’ Season 2?

During the 2022 Comic-Con panel held in July, Dan Erickson, the creator of Severance, tantalized the audience by suggesting that the show’s second iteration would delve deeper into its universe, exploring the implications of a “tweak to reality.” 

Fast forward to January 2023, when Patricia Arquette revealed to Entertainment Tonight that fans should brace themselves for a season that is likely to instill anxiety in them. She extolled the hard work and ingenious ideas of the production team, who have a complete universe in mind. While the audience is piecing together what’s in store, let’s anticipate the upcoming trailer and premiere with bated breath.
