It might seem like the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 rollout has slowed down, but it might be because Xiaomi is trying to resolve issues reported by early adopters after installing the upgrade. A recent update slowed down charging on some devices, and we understand the problem has now been resolved.

The POCO X6 Pro 5G has had some charging issues. It started after a recent HyperOS 2 update that bumped the OS to Android 15. Those in Europe, India, Indonesia, and the Global users are experiencing the issue, which is why it has been fixed. However, the fix build is yet to start rolling out, but you can check the updater app for that.
We understand the outcry about the slow charging on the POCO X6 Pro 5G. The device supports 65W charging, expected to juice up the 5000mAh battery in 45 minutes. Spending more hours charging the device is not ideal, as most people purchase it due to the charging speed.
Nevertheless, the problem has been resolved. A new update will roll out soon. We would recommend checking the update app, as sometimes the company will start rolling out a new update after a new weekly bug report has been published.
Xiaomi phones experiencing slow charging issue
It’s only the POCO X6 Pro 5G users reporting the problem. Affected builds are OS2.0.1.0.VNLMIXM, OS2.0.2.0.VNLIDXM, OS2.0.2.0.VNLINXM, OS2.0.2.0.VNLEUXM. You should avoid any of those updates if you are yet to install them and check the updater app for a new update if you are currently running any of those.
