In this post, we’re going to be talking about the Splitgate ranks and ranking system. We’ll tell you how the ranking system works, and list the different ranks available. By the end of this article, you should have a good understanding of how the ranking system works and what you need to do to rank up.

Splitgate ranking system

Splitgate is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by 1047 Games. The game features two teams of up to ten players each, with each team having one player as the “gatekeeper”. The objective of the game is to score points by either killing enemy players or capturing objectives. The game is played on an arena-style map, and the player’s progress is tracked through a ranking system.

How does the Splitgate ranking system work?

Splitgate uses a ranking system based on Elo scores. To rank in the Splitgate Competitive Playlist, you must first complete five placement matches. Your rank score will then be determined by how well you do in subsequent games.

The score you get at the end of a competitive game is what determines your Splitgate rank. If you win games consistently, your rank will go up. However, you will be at risk of dropping to a lower rank if you lose matches consistently.

Sometimes you may find that you improve your Splitgate ranking even when you lose a match, or you may discover a drop in ranking score despite winning. This can happen if the teams are unbalanced and the result does not reflect this directly.

For example, if you lose but your team is one player down or simply ranked lower than your opponent, you could still rank up. The same applies if you only win against a significantly lower-ranked team. You could lose rank despite a positive result.

Splitgate ranks

The following is a list of Splitgate ranks based on ELO points:

How to Rank up in Splitgate

There are a few things you can do to rank higher in Splitgate.

  1. Try to get as many kills as possible.
  2. Complete objectives as quickly as possible.
  3. Play on the same map over and over again to learn the layout and find the best spots for ambushing and camping.
  4. Use power weapons such as rocket launchers and sniper rifles to take out enemy players.
  5. Play with friends and communicate with them to make sure everyone is on the same page.
  6. Finally, don’t get frustrated and keep playing. The more you play, the better you’ll get and the higher you’ll rank up.
