It’s been months since Xiaomi started rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update. As expected, many devices have already bagged the update while more devices continue to adopt the much-anticipated Android skin. The latest Xiaomi phone to receive the stable MIUI 12 update is the POCO M2 Pro – rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro.
POCO introduced the M2 Pro in India a couple of months ago. The device, unlike the Note 9 Pro, supports 33W Fast charging and few other enhancements, which the latter lacks. However, the duo debuted running MIUI 11 based Android 10, of which the Note 9 Pro has started receiving the latest MIUI 12 update.
It was only a matter of time before the POCO M2 Pro will start receiving the update as well. And just expected, Xiaomi has now released a stable MIUI 12 update for the POCO M2 Pro in India.
The update is coming with so many new features, which are part of the MIUI 12. It includes the New Animation, Floating Windows, Dark Mode 2.0, Privacy Protection, New Camera Functions, New Control Center, and others. The new control center isn’t activated on default, and hence you need to follow this guide and learn how to activate it, as well as the Super Wallpaper.
Meanwhile, the stable MIUI 12 update for the POCO M2 Pro has a version number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QJPINXM, and weighs in at 692MB. As a beta stable update, only selected users will receive it, and with their feedback, Xiaomi might start a wider rollout of the update.
