The stable MIUI based Android 11 update for the Mi 10 has finally arrived in India. Those in China were first to receive the update before it was rolled out globally. As of yesterday, Xiaomi started upgrading the European models, and now the Indian variants start receiving the update as well.
It’s a limited rollout in that region for now, and so, only a few selected users are going to receive the update. The general public will start receiving the update after the beta phase, which is going to last for a couple of days. For those that have received the update, it comes with a version number, MIUI 12.2.2.0 RJBINXM, and you can check for the update via the updater app or use the download link below.
The stable MIUI based Android 11 update for the Mi 10 in India, of course, brought all the Android 11 features to the device. It also bumped the Android security patch to October and improved system security and stability. However, the update is a cross-section Android upgrade, and as such, you might experience lags after installing the update. When that happens, perform a factory reset as that’s going to improve the device performance, but first, make sure you have your backup in a safe location.
