The Samsung Galaxy S25 and a few mid-range phones released in the last weeks are running stable Android 15-based One UI 7. The stable release to the Galaxy S24, which has been testing the build since last year, is expected in April, but Samsung could be planning to release the update before then.

So far, Galaxy S24 has received four One UI 7 beta updates, with a potential fifth still to arrive. It has been weeks since the fourth beta was released, and it’s looking like Samsung will skip it for a stable release. Of course, beta previews are never straightforward, as bugs can cause a last-minute delay.
Stable One UI 7 update for Galaxy S24 rolling out?
Samsung said it will release the Stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 in April. The device recently got the March 2025 security patch update. According to Tarun Vats, that might be the last release before the much-anticipated Android 15 upgrade.
While Samsung might skip the fifth beta build, the stable build might still arrive in April. Nevertheless, skipping the planned beta release will see the stable build start seeding earlier than anticipated.
So far, the Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A56, Galaxy F06, Galaxy M06 5G, and Galaxy M16 5G are the only Samsung phones running One UI 7 stable build. It looks very likely the Galaxy S24 will join the Galaxy S25 on the list.
