This is probably the first time that Samsung has yet to start rolling out the latest Android OS upgrade to their eligible phones. Interestingly, we still don’t know for sure when the rollout will start, but reports are leaning towards next month, but it should be the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series first.

Before the official unveiling of the Galaxy S25 series unveiling, the Korean company had already been testing the new OS with the Galaxy S24 users. The preview has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and we believe the stable rolling could be soon. That agrees with recent reports suggesting the rollout could start in February.
Unfortunately, we do not know when the update will start rolling out next month, if at all, as something can delay the release. Nevertheless, we are confident that Samsung will begin rolling out the update next month, which will open the gate for other phones.
What you can do while waiting for the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24
Although Samsung has been testing the build for the device, there is a chance of something going wrong when the rollout starts. Previous OS releases have proved that developers can miss a bug that can cause serious issues for the device users. Hence, it’s necessary to ensure you backup your files while waiting for a new upgrade.
Aside from backing up your files, it is quite necessary to ensure you are on the latest One UI build. Also, you should update all your apps in anticipation of the new update.
Doing all that is not a guarantee the upgrade will go as planned, and hence, you might avoid the first release. We recommend hopping on the second rollout, which will address any issues that will be reported by early adopters.
