We can only speculate on how much Xiaomi would charge for its impending top-tier flagship now that we have formal confirmation from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch. Fortunately for us, a recent leak has revealed the rumored pricing tiers for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China. Here’s what we know about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra pricing.
Details of the surfaced Xiaomi 13 Ultra pricing
The entry-level model will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 6,299 ($916). With the same RAM configuration, that would be CNY 299 more than last year’s Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra 12/512GB is likely to cost CNY 6,799 ($988), while the top-tier 16/512GB model will cost CNY 7,499 ($1,090). These speculations about price are unofficial, so take them with a grain of salt.
Xiaomi is expected to make an announcement on April 18th, where we will most likely witness the debut of the 13 Ultra, therefore we will have all the details at that time. But here’s a rundown of what we know. According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be taking a four-camera setup at the rear. Among the four camera sensors will be the primary Sony IMX989 from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra – an additional feature will be the gimbal stabilization.
As regards the other three camera sensors, we’re still in a grey area as to what to expect, however, it seems the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will retain the camera sensors from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Meanwhile, all four sensors will be getting PDAF autofocus and direct time of flight. According to sources, the periscope camera of this smartphone will shock everyone as it might be superior to those on the S22 and S23 Ultra.
Superior as in, the image qualities will be top notch and of course the zoom capabilities. There was no other information revealed, however, Digital Chat Station mentioned that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be equipped with 16GB of LP-DDR5X RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage (twice that on the Pro variant).
