A couple of hours ago, the Redmi K30S appeared on Weibo, which is a rebranded Xiaomi Mi 10T series phone. It was China Mobile that posted the image, but it didn’t clarify which of the duo will be heading to China under the Redmi K30 series. However, thanks to a TENNA listing. The full specifications of the Redmi K30S have now been revealed, and it’s a rebadged Mi 10T.
Redmi K30S TENNA listing (specifications)
Going by the listing, the supposed Redmi K30S with a model number, M2007J3SC, will feature a 6.67-inch LTPS panel. It’s a Full HD+ resolution panel of 1080 x 2400p with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The listing states the battery capacity as 4900mAh, but that should be rated 5000mAh as the typical value. It’s expected that the device will debut with a 33W fast charging solution.
Under the hood is an Octa-Core processor that clocks at 2.4GHz, hinting at a possible Snapdragon 865 SoC. And while the maximum RAM variant of the global Mi 10T phones is 8GB, the Chinese version will have up to 12GB RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Unfortunately, it lacks expansion with MicroSD cards.
The camera setup at the back is identical to the Mi 10T. It’s a triple camera consisting of a primary 64MP module. The other two, however, are not listed, but we expect a 13MP ultra-wide angle and a 5MP macro shooter, while the front snapper of the Redmi K30S is listed as a 20MP.
Of course, the fingerprint is mounted on the side while the device weighs in at 216g. It measures 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.3mm and is expected to arrive in multiple colors. Redmi K30S will support NSA and SA 5G bands (41, 78, 79).
We will be on the lookout for more information, this time, the price as well as the official launch date. We expect it to be soon since the device already made it to TENAA, which most times hints at an imminent launch.
