Samsung, alongside Google, are the first to bring stable Android OS updates to their eligible phones. Unfortunately, things have taken a different route this year as Samsung is yet to release the beta build of the One UI 7-based Android 15 update. Nevertheless, they keep working on it internally, as the Galaxy M14 One UI 7 build has just been spotted.
It is still unclear whether we will see a beta One UI 7 build in 2024, given the lack of details from Samsung. However, we are certain about the official unveiling next month alongside the Galaxy S25. Also, some phones to receive the upgrade are being confirmed, which is the case of the Galaxy M14. It’s probably the first M-series phone to receive the upgrade, but that does not mean it will happen soon.
Details of the Samsung Galaxy M14 One UI 7 build
According to reports, the device has been spotted on Geekbench running Android 15-based One UI 7. This confirms the device’s eligibility for the upcoming upgrade but does not say anything about the potential rollout. Nevertheless, we still expect Samsung to release the Beta update to the Galaxy S24 series this year, given the January launch.
We understand the Galaxy M14 5G model is also testing the upcoming upgrade alongside the Galaxy A14 5G and A15 5G. All these phones will get an upgrade to Android 15, but we are not sure when. You should follow our social media platforms to be informed of the latest developments.
