The latest Galaxy Buds 2 update improves charging

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to come in three color variants

Samsung released the Galaxy Buds 2 a year and a half ago but has failed to release its replacement. The Galaxy Buds 3 are scheduled to be released in the second half of 2023, with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. While the probability of getting a successor is close to zero currently, the brand is rolling out a Galaxy Buds 2 update.

Galaxy Buds 2 update

Even if there wasn’t Galaxy Buds at the Galaxy S23 event, it’s nice the business is working to improve its current wireless earphones. The Galaxy Buds 2 have received a software upgrade from the South Korean company.

In South Korea, a new Galaxy Buds 2 update with firmware version R177XXU0AWA3 has been rolled out. According to the description, the new 3.06MB software update enhances wireless earbud charging stability. We anticipate that the new version will be available in additional countries throughout the world over the next few days – so be patient.

If you’re rocking the Galaxy Buds 2 in South Korea, then the latest Galaxy Buds 2 update should have gotten to your device. Those in other regions should be patient as it will most probably get to you in the coming weeks(as said earlier) – that’s the thing with updates. Meanwhile, to upgrade the firmware on your Galaxy Buds 2, launch the Galaxy Wearable app and pick the Galaxy Buds 2 from the left hamburger menu. After connecting the Galaxy Buds 2, go to Earbud Settings » Earbuds software update and touch on Download and install.
