Xiaomi has been sending out a new update to the POCO X3 NFC users for some days now. It’s a limited rollout for now, but quite a good number of people have already installed the update. For the global users, it arrived as MIUI 12.0.6.0 QJGMIXM, and weighs about 324MB, while the EEA users are getting a MIUI 12.0.6.0 QJGEUXM package of about 334MB.
We expect a wider rollout to commence in the coming days, but before you download, here’s a heads up about the latest POCO X3 NFC update. The update has been running smoothly, until recently when a particular user took to the Mi community forum to complain about his inability to detect the fingerprint. It started after installing the latest update, but luckily he was able to fix the bug.
Between, after the update, the fingerprint option didn’t appear under settings>>privacy, and hence, it was impossible to reconfigure. However, this particular user was able to fix the bug after multiple attempts. He had to reboot the device multiple times, and that seems to solve the problem for him.
If you’re facing the same problem or something similar after installing the latest POCO X3 NFC update, then you should reboot the device multiple times as well. Also, you can backup your data and go for a factory reset, and that will also fix any issue you might be facing.
