From the feedback in Mi community forum, the latest Xiaomi Mi A2 lite Android 10 update is safe. Nevertheless, a particular user has complained of some issues which include:
- Audio enchantments still missing
- Battery backup still not good
- Selected sim disabling option missing
- Customization notification appearing in setting
But then, he was asked to perform a factory reset by a moderator, and it seems that fixed the issue for him. Apart from those bugs, no other bug nor a user has complained of any other issue. And so, if you face any of the said bug after downloading the latest Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 10, you should factory reset the device to get it working properly.
As for the update bricking device, which was reported after the first release, that issue has been solved as no such incident is reported so far. According to a user who had his phone bricked by the first update, he received the second build today, and after downloading, everything works just fine.
But unfortunately, the update is for users still in Android Pie. Few users who already upgraded their device with the first build were asked to wait for a future update. But not to worry, the update will progressively arrive on every compatible device in the coming days.
You must download the latest Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 10 once you get a prompt notification for the update , or it might be pulled back. And to manually check for the update, go to settings> system> tap on system update.
