According to Mukul Sharma who shared a tweet about two weeks ago, The new Google Pixel watch was set to debut with Wear OS 3.1, although many gadget users contradicted this as the Wear OS 3.2 was already available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Just this week, a few details about the new Google Pixel watch surfaced online, and now it seems the wearable price and availability are revealed.
Sources proposed that the wearable might cost more than a Fitbit. According to the frequent tipster, Yogesh Brar, the price of the Google Pixel watch is probably going to be within the range of $300-$400. This price tag will put the new Google Pixel watch in a healthy competition with the Apple Watch Series 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 classic. Speaking of its availability, just like Pixel phones, the device will be available in limited markets and would perhaps reach the other regions that will be left out gradually.
Other details of the new Google Pixel watch
The amazing Google brand wearable was said to have an internal codename, Pixel Rohan and new sources confirmed by Brar say that the Google Pixel watch is a combined effort of both the Big G and the Korean brand, Samsung as it is going to bear the Samsung Exynos chipset.
Another individual who came across the Pixel watch earlier this week said that the wearable is about half an inch thick and one and a half inches in diameter. Brar also mentioned that the new Google Pixel Watch will come in two sizes with at least 4 color variants as well as the same sensors, ECG functions, and other features present in the Galaxy Watch 4.
While these tweaks are surfacing online about Pixel Rohan, we should still anticipate the Google I/O 2022 conference scheduled for May as it seems the Big G has a lot in store for the Android community.
