The new Pixel Buds Pro is in the gang of gadgets released by the Big G at the just concluded hardware event – some other devices being the Google Pixel 7 series and the Google Pixel Watch. The Pixel Buds Pro offers a ton of features to explore and Google is just adding to the fun – we’re getting a new Pixel Buds Pro update.
Details of the new Pixel Buds Pro update
The new Pixel Buds Pro update bears firmware version 3.14 and one highlight feature of this update is the 5-band EQ (which is a feature that was tipped to arrive on the buds at launch). The 5-band EQ provided users with different frequency bands( Upper Treble, Bass, Low Bass, Mid, Treble)on the Pixel Buds Pro. Furthermore, the Google audio engineers introduced six presets for this wearable ( Default, Heavy Bass, Light Bass, Balanced, Vocal Boost, and Clarity).
What’s fascinating about this tweak is that once you have introduced the frequency band and preset you choose, the Pixel Buds Pro will play on that accord irrespective of which device is connected to it – be it a laptop, smartphone, or smartwatch.
Not only do we get a 5-Band EQ via the new Pixel Buds Pro update but there are tweaks for audio balance (as the name goes, for regulating the ratio of the left and right audio). Then we also have general bug fixes and improvements so we can get the best out of these new features.
As mentioned earlier, the firmware version for this update is 3.14 bumping it from 2.14 in August. As far as sources could tell, the update has not started rolling out widely just yet, although the “prerequisite app update” is now available on the Play Store.
