It’s been over seven months since Xiaomi started sending out the MIUI 12 update, which has currently made it to a good number of phones. Some eligible Android 11 Xiaomi phones are now receiving the new Android OS with a stable MIUI 12. And so far, the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro, POCO F2 Pro, Redmi K30 5G, and Redmi Note 9 Pro have all bagged the update, while the MIUI 12 update is yet to start rolling out to some phones for the first time.
A couple of days ago, Xiaomi announced it has updated over 30 of its phones to the latest MIUI 12 skin. The update, however, is yet to arrive on a few popular Xiaomi phones, which include the Redmi Note 5 (Redmi 5 Plus), Redmi 6, Redmi 7, and Redmi 8. And according to Xiaomi Brazil, the next phase of MIUI 12 rollout will see the phones, among others which have been listed below, receive the MIUI 12 update.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the next phase of the MIUI 12 rollout is going to commence as no ETA is attached to the tweet. However, we expect the update to start arriving on those eligible units yet to start receiving the update for the first time any moment from now. Meanwhile, some of the devices on the list have already received the MIUI 12 update for the first time. Most of them are on the list because the update is yet to arrive in every region.
