As the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 rollout extends to more users and regions, more bugs are surfacing. It is not surprising, as new OS upgrades come with these issues. We commend how Xiaomi is working round the clock to address all these problems, and we believe the touchscreen not responding to issues being reported by Redmi 13C / POCO C65 users will be resolved soon.
While the global and European versions of these phones were among the first to receive the Android 15-based HyperOS 2, the update recently made its way to Indonesia. We understand those in India have received the update as well, and they seem to be having the same problem after upgrading to a new OS.
According to reports, the touchscreen stops responding while playing games on the phone. The problem is being reported by those in Indonesia and India running OS2.0.1.0. VGPIDXM and OS2.0.2.0. VGPINXM, respectively. Unfortunately, we do not have any clue about what is causing the problem, but we expect a solution soon.
Xiaomi is still analyzing the “touchscreen not responding issue” with the hope of releasing a new build soon to address it. While waiting for a new update, you might stop playing games with your device. Also, you can perform a factory reset if you have all your data back up. We have seen a situation where a device starts working fine after a hard reset.
Meanwhile, if you are having any of the issues below, we recommend that you check the updater app for a new update.
