How to transfer Steam game to a new PC
We would be transferring the Steam game to our new PC using the Steam backup feature as follows:

- Connect your external USB drive to your old computer.
- Back up the game you want to transfer directly onto an external drive using Steam Library Manager.
- Connect the external drive to the new computer.
- Finally, restore the game(s) from the backup file.
How to move Epic games to new PC
- Open File Explorer on your old PC.
- Go to the Epic Games default installation directory below:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\NameOfTheGame
- Copy/backup the game(s) which you would like to move to a USB drive with enough storage space.
- Launch the Epic Games client.
- Open Library.
- Click the three dots next to the game that you want to transfer.
- Click Uninstall.
- Next, go to your new PC.
- Install the Epic Games client if it is not already installed.
- Now start installing the game again to the exact location you wish on the new PC.
- As soon as the game installs up to 2-3 percent, click the three dots again and cancel the installation.
- Exit the Epic Games launcher.
- Now, initiate a copy of the backup earlier made to the new installation destination.
- Select Yes, to all on the Copy dialog in order to replace the downloaded files.
- Open the Epic Games Launcher when done, and resume the download.
How to move Origin games to new PC
- Open File Explorer on your old PC.
- Navigate to the Origin Games installation directory below:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games
- You can launch your Origin library and click on the Game > Settings > Move game to open the folder for the game location.
- Right-click the folder when on the location and copy the folder to a USB drive with enough storage space.
- Unplug the USB drive once the copy operation is completed, and go to the destination computer.
- Make sure the Origin client is installed on the computer.
- Next, create a folder called “Origin Games” in the location where you want the game installed. You can name the folder whatever you want, and it can be located anywhere on your hard drive.
- Then, navigate to the newly created directory and copy the “game” folder from the USB drive into it.
- Finally, open your Origin client.
- Go to My Game Library.
- Locate the game you just moved, and right-click on it, then select Locate game on the context menu to open File Explorer.
- To move your game to your new PC, first locate the Origin Games folder you created earlier. Then, highlight the folder and click Select folder. Your game should now be successfully moved to your new PC and you can play it from there.
How to transfer Uplay games to a new PC
- Open the Uplay launcher.
- Go to Games.
- Select the game you want to move.
- Click Properties > Open Folder.
- Copy the whole game folder and paste it at exact location where the game will be.
- Quit the launcher by right-clicking on the Uplay icon in the bottom-right of the taskbar.
- Delete the game’s old installation and launch the Uplay application again.
- Go to the game from the Games tab.
- Click on Locate Installed Game just below the Download button.
- Select the folder where the game have been moved to, and the launcher will start to verify the files for the game.
