Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, there has been a lot of locking and unlocking with a little bit of chaos as well. The latest on the social media platform is that it now lets users request a review of a suspended account. When Elon grabbed Twitter, some Twitter accounts that were suspended got released and it caused a bit of unrest.
Unrest, in that, the originally suspended accounts were the cause of some online riot. This gesture(allowing for review of suspended account)demonstrated trust in Twitter’s new regulations, and the social site now includes a public appeals mechanism as well. Through this online form, any user with a locked, blocked, suspended, or banned Twitter account can commence the flow.

“As we shared earlier, we have been proactively reinstating previously suspended accounts. Starting February 1, anyone can appeal an account suspension and be evaluated under our new criteria for reinstatement.” – Twitter Safety.
According to the Twitter Safety account, the objective is to take “less harsh” penalties against rule offenders in the future. Offenders, for example, may have their reach reduced or even be requested to delete specific tweets that violate the existing set of rules.
That is not to imply that Twitter users will not be banned in the future. That prestigious status is designated solely for people who seriously push the boundaries of Twitter’s policies, or who become serial violators despite being aware of the warning indicators.
