Whatsapp keeps receiving tweaks upon tweaks from the Meta boss, three new features are expected very soon and now sources have related an Undo message deletion feature coming to this Meta platform, Whatsapp.
Well, this will be a very handy feature since most people are always caught in the sticky glue of tapping “delete for me” rather than “delete for everyone”. Sources report that the Undo message deletion feature will be available for messages deleted via the “delete for me” option.
Undo message deletion feature was spotted on WhatsApp version 2.22.18.13, however, it might still make its way to the previous version. The feature simply provides you with an Undo button, which will be on your screen for a couple of seconds, when you delete a message with the “delete for me” option. The Meta boss might still apply this for the “delete for everyone” option in the long run.
Meanwhile, the exact date for the rollout of this update is still unknown, however, it should be very soon. There are still other interesting features Whatsapp has gotten these recent weeks.
Apart from an Undo message deletion feature
Mark Zuckerberg rolled out the Thumbs Up, Red heart, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Folded Hands Whatsapp message reactions. We also got to see animated heart emoji, new privacy control settings, increase in group members’ limits among some precautions to prevent Whatsapp scams.
Not to mention the screenshot blocking for View Once messaging and the ability to leave a group without alerting the members except the admin. That said, these two features are still in works just like the undo message deletion feature. Whatsapp is sure getting interesting features, not surprising for one of the most used social media platforms.
